Indian pancake - not dosas

I recently had indian pancakes - they weren't the huge thin dosas but rather smaller and thicker. They had some kind of herbs baked into them and were served with coconut chutney. Would anyone know the name of these and/or have a recipe? Thanks so much.

padkimao (my favorite dish, btw), i'm with you. it's uttapam. the instant "mix" is easy to use to make it at home, adding your own veggies -- primarily green onion.

here's a recipe to make it yourself: http://images.google.com/imgres?imgur...

        i love uttapam!
