Good Delivery in Silver Spring?

First off yes I am fully aware that to get really good food it always is best to go to the restaurant but sometimes you just want to sit on your couch while eating some excellent food. We recently moved to an apartment very near the intersection of Georgia Ave and Connecticut Ave in the silver spring/aspen hill area and at the moment the only places that we know of that deliver here are Papa Johns and Sole D'italia. So please, if you know any places nearby that deliver or do take out that you really recommend please let me know, I'm looking for all types of food from chicken nuggets to pizza to fine cuts of steak and of course the always popular chinese, japanese, thai, etc. Thanks for all the suggestions!

I'm in the same boat, so to speak. Any decent delivery in the Aspen Hill locale?

I hear ya about the couch thing. :)

I used to live in the Glenmont area, and I got my Chinese delivery from Fu Lin in Plaza del Mercado. It isn't the world's best Chinese food, but it'll do.

I also got gyros from Pizza Stop, also in Plaza del Mercado. The gyros are pretty cheap and they give you a generous portion. Their pizza is also pretty good as well as their fries.

Thai Tavern in Rockville delivers, though you may not live in their delivery area. But it's worth checking. Good stuff.

See that's one of the few things that worries me. I love thai so very much, but I fear something like Massaman Curry (my favorite) isn't exactly something that travels/lasts well, is it really safe to have for delivery/take out?
