BBQ Duck/Pork recommendation in Richmond please!
I'm a Londoner (UK) living in Vancouver and I'm going to check out Richmond for the first time this weekend. I'm a massive fan of BBQ pork and duck and was wondering where's the best place to go.

Hey bert! Welcome to Vancouver and congrats on your first post here. Do let us know where you try, and if you're ever in Vancouver's Chinatown, check out the BBQ pork at Lee Loy (Hastings and Gore) -- not bad.

I ended up trying HK BBQ Master - the char siu was excellent and the duck was good but not memorable. Thanks for the advice. I'll definitely try Lee Loy as it's not far from me (I live downtown). Also thanks for multiple other v good recs that I've picked up from both of you on other posts - they've been keeping me well fed for the past few months.

Glad we've been of service. Do let us know where you've tried and what you thought. This board is so far flung and covers such a deal of geography that our data points for Vancouver and Lower Mainland are in constant need of refreshing. Would be v. cool to get a London ex-pat's perspective on our dining options hereabouts!

There are three places I like:
Parker Place Meat & BBQ - in Parker Place mall - not a sitdown restaurant. You can eat in the food court. Long lineups mainly for the roast pork (siu yok), but their BBQ Pork (char siu) and Duck are good too.
HK BBQ Master which is on north side of the Superstore on Number 3 Rd. They have some seating so you can eat right there. Menu limited to the BBQ on Rice and some soup.
Master Hung at Blundell and Garden City (which has really good duck). They have a full restaurant menu. It's way into central Richmond - a fair distance from the action on Number 3 Rd.
There are quite a number of very good BBQ in Richmond, and those three are my favourites.
