Value Meals At New East Cuisine Manor in Flushing (Formerly Gala Manor)

Walked by what used to be Gala Manor on 37th St. and saw it is now New East Cuisine Manor. (I remember a passing reference on the board late last year to a name change.) I noticed that besides their normal seafood laden menu that they have what appears to be a take-out oriented menu with items priced at $3.95 and $4.95. I kind of expected a junior size portion, but I got pretty much a full portion, plus a full carton of rice and a regular pint sized bottle of Poland Springs water, all for $4.95. Food seem to be as good as under Gala Manor. Wonder if there's any connection to East Manor given the contents of the elongated new name.
