Yeah, its certainly a huge step up from a defunct sushi restaurant!

I find some of her answers in the interview/article odd, e.g "“I really love Mexican food, but I want to feel good after I eat it.” I have in general problems with restaurants who mainly emphasize only on healthy food instead of high quality food.

all food is "healthy," when consumed in moderation.
That said, Coffee Cup Cafe in La Jolla is one of our fave breakfast places. What she does w/ "healthy" comes out very tasty.

I was really hoping that Barrio Star was an indication that Cowboy Star was opening a second resturant in this location. Slight dissapointment but just very slight. Look forward to cheking this place out. Resturant wars on 5th Ave is starting to heat up. I love this neighborhood.

Agreed. Starting to get a huge variety too, which is awesome since I can walk to all these places.
