Hash browns in Nashville

Just like the title says, looking for a breakfast place with good hash browns, preferably shredded as opposed to cubed or diced. Thanks!

I just had breakfast at the Pied Piper Eatery for the first time this weekend. They have hash browns, and serve things from the breakfast menu all day every day. Not the best hash browns I've ever been served, not the worst.

In case I wasn't clear before, the hash browns at the Pied Piper Eatery are real hash browns (i.e. shredded), not home fried potatoes masquerading as hash browns.

I second Athens Family on 8th av. Sorry but Waffle House is off limits for me. I only eat food. Geez, even Shoney's potato cubes are better than that.

Best Hashbrowns in town are at Pancake Pantry in Hillsboro Village, followed by a close 2nd at Athens Family Restaurant on 8th Ave South

Agree on Pancake Pantry. The hash browns are their single best food item. However, they are not the shredded style.
