I am visiting SF for the week and I'm hoping someone can tell me where I can buy some of the rarer brands of bitters?

The first post is over a year ago. The secret to searching chowhound is changing the search parameters to 5 years and relevance.

It also takes persistence. That thread came up about 35 pages into the search for "bitters." I knew I had read something and as my wife says I have copious free time.

Also, check out Cask on 3rd and Market. They have many of the more exotic bitters, and even carry the rare celery bitters from time to time.

I think Cask (same owners as Bourbon & Branch?) has the biggest selection of hard-to-find cocktail supplies.
