Good restaurants NOT doing a set menu on Valentine's Day - follow-up from my previous "Brunch and lunch places for NYC foodie"
Hi everyone,
Thanks for your suggestions on my previous thread regarding brunch and lunch places. See link:

I was able to get a reservation at Komi but am on the waitlist at Minibar. However, I was instead able to get a table in the Chef's Tasting Room at Restaurant Eve so I'm excited about that.
I think we've settled on breakfast at Teaism for Saturday, and brunch at Blue Duck Tavern on Sunday.
I was hoping to have dinner at Rasika on Sunday but it is Valentine's Day and they are only doing a set menu and I'm not sure how I feel about that. Has anyone dined at Rasika on a holiday featuring a set menu, and if so, what did you think?
Alternately, what would be some great restaurants, more casual than Komi and Eve (we'll be ready for a change of pace), that would probably be featuring their regular menu on Valentine's Day?
It's a tall order I know but I'd appreciate any suggestions you have. Proof? Source? Anything?
Thanks so much!
