Vegas Report: Bouchon

Summary: We have loved this place in the past, but feel it’s falling down. Very slow service. We will be even less tempted to go somewhere other than Payard for breakfast.

Still decent:
* Croque Madame
* Chocolate almond pastry – solid, flaky, delicious

Wouldn’t bother:
* Quiche Florentine – lacking in creaminess
* Lyonnaise potatoes – lacking in flavor
* Orange juice – it’s way better at Payard

  1. This is my favorite restaurant in Vegas, partly because the atmosphere is just to my liking. My husband and I both had what we'd call our favorite meals there, but they were specials of the evening and not regulars on the menu. They had a pork shoulder that was out of this world. We also enjoyed a chicken reyette (sp) on the brunch menu that we're dying to try again. I honestly haven't found anything I've loved off their standard menu but I will keep going back.

    1. Ate there a few times and loved it. My favourite meal was the scrambled eggs with a white sausage. Very simple, yet delicious.
