Best Sports Bar near McSorleys

We will be at McSorleys on Saturday afternoon and then want to go to a great sports bar nearby to watch the NFL games. Any recommendations? Thanks!

Professor Thom's on Second Avenue. Good beer selection and ok bar food. Should not be too crowded as the Pats are out.

Second Prof Thom's - I like their steak salad, chicken fingers, and fried mac and cheese. Oh, and the waffle fries, of course.

St Mark's hotel is a big spot for football. Larger than Standings, but not huge by any measure. Decent beer selection, last I recall.

2nd Dempsey's and Village Pour House as well. Also, may be a little farther than you want to walk but Lunasa is a fine spot for watching sports.

Bounce Duece. Good food and cute bartenders.

Standings is on the same block and has a ton of tvs and great beer..however it is very tiny. Get there early for a spot. Also nearby is Dempsy's which is your average bar with slightly above average bar food.

Long live Standings! Even if you don't stay there all afternoon, make sure to stop by for a beer and experience one of the quirkiest, most unapologetically sports-geeky bars in NYC. Don't miss it - it's just a half block East of McSorley's on 7th St.
