Soho: Late-night bar recommendations
We are staying at the Hilton Garden Inn in Soho this weekend. Can folks recommend a few places close that we can go with the following
Happening scene
Great beer/wine list
Open late
Someone recommended Tiger Ale House just north of Soho. Any other thoughts?
TIA!

Not a happening scene, but there is Bar Artisinal in your hotel. It is a pretty room and has a good wine/beer selection. It is also known for cheeses and has decent small plates. Not sure how late it stays open.
On quieter side, the hotel is around corner from Anotheroom on W Broadway, a small dark bar with great beer list and wine (no booze though).

Why type of scene do you consider happening? There's been a slight split in the NY bars between high end cocktails, and extensive beer or wine lists.
Pegu Lounge, and Little Branch are close by for mixed drinks. PDT in the East Village.Try DBA in the East Village, and Spitzers have good beer lists.
Burp Castle and Jimmy's 43 in the East Village.
Zumm Schneider is a German pub in Alphabet City
The Ginger Man and Waterfront Ale House aren't really scenes but have fun beer/wines.In Soho, there's Cipriani, there's a bar in Soho Grand, the wine bar above Mercer Kitchen at the Mercer Hotel, Toad Hall, N on Crosby, Fanneli's (skip the food)....nearby, you have B Flat (more cocktails), Brandy Library, and tons of other places you'll spot just by walking around.
I don't know that Tiger Ale is anything special to send out of towners to, honestly.
