Who's got the best bbq oysters in the quarter?

  1. im now aware of anyone serving bbq oysters other than Redfish Grill, where they serve them like bbq wings -- fried and coated in a spicy sauce and drizzled w/ blue cheese.

Middendorf's has an appetizer of bbq oysters, but it's not like either chargrilled oysters or the "wing" oyster at RFG. They're baked and served on the halfshell with a tangy red sauce that is actually closer to traditional bbq sauce. They are delicious and I never skip getting an order of them when I'm over that way.

I got the bbq shrimp there. Totally different than what you'd expect but delicious.
