Myth versus Reality

A few months ago I walked past Blossom and thought it would be a good place to dine. When I was looking for a restaurant near 6th and 26th, Blossom came up as a choice on Chowhound. However, the Chowhound reviews were all over the place. Our experience was very positive. Our server was slow to find us but his service was excellant once we got going. We shared the parsnip cappelletti (this was weak and I suggested that they remove it from the menu), the black eyed pea cakes (fabulous, don't miss this), and fettuccine bolognese (excellant). We found the portions to be good sized and the prices to be reasonable. For the recored we are not vegans. We give Blossom two thumbs up and would return in a heartbeat.

  1. If the level of service or quality of the food is variable then a single visit might not be enough to make a reliable judgment.
