Cana korean in Bayside

Checked out Cana, a new korean joint in bayside that just opened. My friends and I had the seafood pancake, pan fried dumplings, ddukboki, seafood soondubu, budae jjigae, kimchee bokum w/tofu, broiled mackerel, and doenjang jjigae. And they also have the steamed egg banchan, which always wins bonus points from me. Food was very good and reminded me of mom's cooking--really fresh and tasty. I think they're in the process of getting a liquor license, so no booze just yet. there's also a little shop connected next door where they sell various banchan, dduk, stews, and other prepared foods...I brought home a container of namul/seasoned veggies and it's definitely better than the banchan i usually pick up at hmart woodside. Coming from main street flushing it was easy to get there by Q27 (in front of modells) for about 20 min and stopping a block away from the restaurant.
