Places Near McCormick Ranch, Scottsdale?

Hey, so I'm looking for a good place for dinner near the McCormick Ranch area of Scottsdale. I have a friend from out of town who's at a conference there, and I mostly know things a bit further south in Scottsdale. Anyone have any experience with Bloom? I was also thinking about Blue Wasabi in the Hilton Village, but I've had mixed experiences there in the past. Entrees in the $10s or $20s are fine (no Roka Akor, unfortunately!) Thanks!

Rancho Pinot is in that area, but is right at the upper limit of the stated price range. Humble Pie, which is also nearby, is more affordable. If the friend is willing to travel a bit farther, Petite Maison is also a good option.

NB: Rancho Pinot is not open on Sundays.
