best crab cakes or caesar salad in las vegas?

I had the crab cakes at joes stone and crab in vegas and was blown away. I doubt I got the best the city has to offer on my first try, so does anyone have any other recommendations?

I know the second one is a little weird to ask, but if a place has a great caesar salad, the rest of the food is normally great as well.

How traditional do you like your caesar? There is an interesting version that we have enjoyed several times at Charlie Palmer Steak (Four Seasons/Mandalay Bay), with prosciutto wrapped romaine hearts, and marinated fresh white anchovies.

that variation sounds nice. I do like when the dressing is white. I don't like it as much when its just oil with white bits, you know what I mean?

I heard that there is a place in vegas that makes the dressing tableside, raw egg and all.

I think baseballfan means this place: http://www.thepalm.com/sitemain.cfm?s...

... which certainly makes sense. You want a good caesar, go to Caesars, lol.

I think baseballfan means the Palm Steakhouse at the Forum Shops and not the Palms Hotel.

Yes, I did mean The Palm restaurant in the Forum shops at Caesars. They make it tableside and it is delicious.

The caesar salad at the Palm is fantastic. I order it every time I am there.
