Anyone have a good savory biscotti recipes that they have tried? Something that could be dunked in soup. There's a recipe on the King Arthur site for Savory Cheese Biscotti that I might try, but thought I'd ask around first for recommendations.
I have never made savory biscotti, though I make sweet all the time. I think it's a great idea, though to me this recipe looks too fatty. The sweet biscotti I make use only eggs -- no butter or shortening -- and are great. With a cup of cheese and all those nuts I would guess you could eliminate the extra fat altogether and it would still be delicious.
It's one of my cooking resolutions this year to make savory cookies in general, especially savory biscotti.
I've seen some recipes on epicurious.com that I was going to try, but haven't gotten to them yet.
I too would be interested if someone has identified a really good recipe.
