At times, diners can't hear themselves talk or think (i.e., acoustics are awful), so it is perfect for kids.

The pizzas are good, though, albeit very expensive.

Love it. It's great for anyone. How often can you say that?? Reasonably priced for how good it is. Food arrives quickly, even when it's incredibly busy which is also a plus when you're with kids. Was there last night and sat next to a large table with young children.

We love Tarry Lodge. It would probably be better to eat at a table in the bar area with children. The lasagne is the best. I would pass on the cold antipasto. Excellent bread, expensive drinks. Nice friendly service. Make reservations in advance. Sunday afternoon is one of the best times to dine with children.

For lunch, absolutely. For dinner, the wait may knock the kids out. Service and menu are quite family friendly.
