Has anyone seen The Tomato, the 2010 incarnation of Edmonton City Palate

I have heard rumours that it's out and about. Has anyone seen copies of this on the stands? Just curious to see the new magazine.

picked up a copy at Liquor Select on 149th Street yesterday....no significant changes apart from name...perhaps a little smaller content wise...nice to read about local happenings

        Hi Bob,
Same number of pages, same type of coverage, just a name change. Essentially that's what it is. We're no longer paying a royalty to the Calgary pub of the same name. Ownership, designer, printer, writers etc have not changed. Thanks for the tip re empty stands. Sunterra and Zenaris have been refilled. Other downtown pick up spots are Sobey's on 104, Devines, Hardware Grill, Winspear, Italian Centre N, maryb

you are welcome mary ... read it with a glass of gewurtz at Original Joe's in the West End ... pulled pork with sweet onion mustard sauce is neither "slow" nor "local" cooking but it filled the void ...

Great, great...yes, I'll venture out again tomorrow and take another look at those places for it.

Just picked up a copy at Paddy's Cheese Shop (for all you Oliver and area residents like me who tend not to venture out of your own neighbourhood for weeks on end.)

Aye. I picked a copy up earlier in the week. Lots at the south side Italian Centre.

Thanks! I'll see if I can find a copy on the north side of the river. If not, I'll head to the Italian Centre South.

          Thank you as well.

I went looking for one at Sunterra and Zenari's downtown yesterday without success
