Stolichny in Sacramento

Just checking to see if anyone else has been to this restaurant.
I went yesterday with a friend, the food was ok to good, nothing spectacular, service passable but disinterested.
But what's up with the high prices....?
I feel taken advantage of .
Neither I or my friend have any interest in going back.
I would appreciate other's opinions, just in case I might be unecessarily cranky.

It is located on Watt Ave, in vicinity of old McLellan AFB, there are some older reviews on yelp. com which seems to be much more active pertaining to the Sacramento food scene.

    2. This restaurant has been on my 'want to try' list for a couple of years, but haven't gotten around to it yet. I put it on my list based on a review in the Bee back in 2007; it had gotten 4 stars. My friends that went around that time completely raved about it. Then another review came out 2009 by a diff. reviewer and it only got 2 1/2 stars. It did say that it was pricey for the quality of food, but the servings were "ample". You didn't get any response to your posting back in Jan. Just wondering if anyone from Chow has gone there this year? Should I keep it on my list or take it off??
