    I don't think so. I just called them to ask their hours. Open Mon-Sat to 7pm, close at 4pm on Sunday.

      "They"are still in the same place-E. 78th. Orwasher sold it to somebody else dont know who. I think the raisin cinnamon bread is not as good.

        I believe it was sold to a group of its employees? I agree that the quality has gone down somewhat since the sale, although it's still decent.

            I haven't tried enough of a selection there since the sale to adequately answer that question, although I do still like their rye bread and their "Russian bread" and their rolls.

              Bought a rye loaf today, love their rye. They're now selling cheeses.

              The artisan wine bread is nice. Try with chees and wine..

          NO, not closed. I was there two days ago. There was a change of ownership last year.

            Has anyone tried the pumpernickel raisin bread since the bakery sold? Is it just as good as it was before they sold it? I was thinking of going uptown to get some if it is the same great bread as I remember.
