early thoughts on graduation dinner

Hi fellow hounds!

There will be a group of 10-12 folks (mostly adult family) celebrating 2 mba graduates from Northeastern this May. We'd like to walk to a place after the ceremony that would have room for all of us and with entrees around $20-$25. Initial thoughts are City Table, Brassiere Jo's, and Toro. Any recommendations from the group? Thanks much in advance!

I have never been to the other two places, but I think Brasserie Jo would be a good choice for this event. It's within your price range, should be able to accommodate a range of tasts, the food is good and it has kind of an upbeat atmosphere. They even have some private dining, although I don't know how small of a group they would accomodate for that.

Brasserie Jo is fantastic. I ate there several weeks ago before going to the Holiday Pops and even with a packed restaurant, the staff was attentive and the food was good.
