Jan. Saveur--has it been mailed out?

Has anyone received their Jan. issue of Saveur (issue #126)? I've seen it on the newstands, but I haven't received mine and I was wondering if anyone else has.

  1. I received mine in Minneapolis a few days ago.

          1. Got mine a while back. You're not missing anything. "Top 100" with write-ins from readers. Yawn.

              I have to agree; I thought this was a very lame issue.

                Agree -- I usually enjoy the Top 100 issues, but this one was a snore.

                I actually enjoyed this Saveur 100 more than last year's for the Home Cook. But I prefer when Saveur comes up with their own list. Thinking more of the lists from 2002 - 2006.

                  Agree. I think leaving it to chefs narrows the range to more predictable stuff. But I did love the mention of the Vespro "In Bocca" cookbooks--I treasure the one I have.

              3. Well, I still haven't received mine and we are now into mid-January. Time to give them a call.

                  Still waiting. Wrote to them and they are sending it in 2-3 weeks. Wonder what the problem is.
