ingredient talk: squash blossoms out of season?

i don't mean to flood the board with these posts, but the subjects are a bit incongruous to post together.
does anyone know where i can find squash blossoms out of season in los angeles?
thanks!

You can get them at farmers' markets, as others have said, or you can get them frozen or tinned at Mexican markets; look for "flores de calabaza".

I saw some at the Santa Monica Famer's Market this morning. The vendor that had them (I don't remember the name) is there on Saturdays too.

Yeah, they tend to be a pretty 'seasonless' item because squash blossoms can come from summer squashes and winter squashes (I had a really good winter squash empanada at La Sazon Oxacaquena in Mar Vista two weekends ago which had a great CRUNCH!)

I don't know the name either, but on Wednesdays they set up on the southwest corner of Arizona and 2nd. They're the ones with the huge table full of broccoli, cauliflower, and artichokes.
