i would like to buy preferably a torta de reyes, or a kings cake, to bring to the office tomorrow. i am trying to avoid sunset park as it's really out of the way - i would prefer park slope, carroll gardens, brooklyn heights, dumbo or downtown brooklyn. anyone knows of a mexican bakery that might have it? or if not, a french one? anyone knows if almodine will carry them? ifyou know of a specific place in sunset park, please let me know.

there is a new almondine bakery (original is in dumbo across from j. torres chocolate) on 9th. st. off of 7th ave. in park slope. i spotted a king's cake there if that helps. there were only a couple so i would call first before heading over there.
