Asian Food Tour of Flushing Queens
I have a group of chefs that would love to tour the Asian "hot spots" in Flushing. I remember the NYTimes doing a big write up on the Flushing area. They even had a map of all the hot spots.
My question is: Is there anyone out there that leads tours like this??

How big is your group and what kind of " hot Spots " do you want to hit i.e. food stalls vs. restaurants, Korean ,Chinese, Noodle places, what ethnic type of cuisine.? I would think you have to define more exactly what kind of "hot spots " you're interested in and then consider where to go. For instance if the group is too large you'll havea tough time in a place like the Golden Shopping Mall where some of the food stalls can't accommodate a large group.

Here's a link to kathryn's classic guide to Flushing: http://chowhound.chow.com/topics/6272...
I don't know of anyone who leads tours of the neighborhood, but this post is a very good substitute for a tourguide.
