Roseville/Sacramento Recomendations

sugarNspice Jan 4, 2010 08:54 AM

Headed to Roseville/Sacaramento area for the first time. Looking for recomendations for interesting bakeries and chocolate shops. Also dinner recomendations will be great. I live in Napa Valley and enjoy eating at places like Redd, JoLe and Solbar.

Check out the web site for "Ginger Elizabeth Chocolates" in midtown Sacramento.

Thanks Margot. Looks like I will have to save this for my next visit. The shop is closed until Jan 7 and I leave on the 6th ; (

      I can help you some.

      Crush 29 is great.

La Provence is really good, beautiful building etc. http://www.laprovenceroseville.com/

In Granite Bay Hawks is wonderful.
      So is Dominicks Deli and
Granitos (yes it is back!) is a small little ristorante.

I am almost sure there is a chocolatier in the mall by Whole Foods on the edge of Rocklin/Roseville.

Piatti is truly wonderful. I know it is a chain, but each location has a lot of autonomy.
