Stewed chicken & dumplings

Im still searching the LA basin for old fashioned stewed chicken & dumplings "like Mom used to make". Juicy chicken, swimming in yellow gravy, with soft fluffy dumplings the size of a billiard ball. Any ideas ??

    Try the chicken and dumplings special on Thursdays at R & R Soul Food in Carson across from the Home Depot Center. It's very hearty, mouthwatering, and addicting.
