big cans of grape leaves

I used to get really big cans of grape leaves at a store in Mohegan Lake that closed. Bjs has smaller cans. Does any one know of a store in Westchester that has those really , really big cans? Thanks

The biggest cans are actually 3 Kilo, as they are imported. Are you sure they were that size though, I see them and I think they are more like 1K. But they do sell grape leaves in the deli packed out by the workers: I get gallons of Boars Head mustard that they sell me over the counter when I ask, so they might sell you a big can too. Otherwise very easy to get at a restaurant supply store.

Closest Best Yet to Westchester is in Queens though.

You most likely are corrrect stacked up the cans looked larger .Anyway where is there a restaurant supply on Long Island? Thank You

There are at least 3 large foodservice wholesalers, all located in the Holtsville area, who will sell you if you walk in the front door. Sometimes full cases but often not. A couple of Restaurant Depots are centrally located but unfortunately you need a restaurant tax ID to get in, not open to the public, and they're a pain in the neck to shop at anyway.

Trying to find them at a store in Westchester. Perhaps Turkish or Greek. Not sure what size cans. They area different shape than a 10 , but they had a lot in them.. Perhaps somewhere in White pLAINS OR SOUTHERN Westchester

Try Yaranush, the mediterranean grocery store on Central Avenue in White Plains, just before the Hartsdale border. Coming from Rt 119 it is on the right side, just after the Harley Davidson Dealer and near the carwash. I have not been there in a long time, but they have everything middle eastern. I am sure they will have it or will be able to point you in the right direction.

I was there yesterday and saw the stack; for some reason small cans on top and then underneath, there were bigger 2 Kilo cans. So something for everybody!
