Hi folks. I'm new to Austin and looking for a good place to watch the big football game Thurs night. Ideally they would have better than average bar food and a few decent wines. Hyde Park area would be a bonus. Ideas?

Cover 3 would be the place, but get there early as they will absolutely be full-up.

vino vino. Jeff is bringing his 50 inch HDTV, and the restaurant will be serving their "icehouse" menu. There isn't anything about it online yet, but Jeff told me about it at vino vino last night.

Just got an e-mail about this from Vino vino. Here's an online blurb about it.

Max's Wine Dive just sent me one as well. Looks like they're putting on quite a party. It's going to be very loud in there though.

Ended up going to VinoVino and had a great time! Thanks all!
p.s. crispy chicken thigh sandwich on new menu was most tasty.
