Halifax -- glucose syrup and agar agar?

Hi, me one again. Does anyone know where to buy glucose syrup and agar agar in Halifax? Thanks!

I think I've seen agar agar at Planet Organic, in the japanese/macrobiotic section

Bayer's Lake. It's in tubs on the shelves in the aisle furthest to the left when you walk in.

I haven't found pure glucose syrup anywhere, but I've found lily white corn syrup to be a reasonable substitute, so long as you don't mind the vanillin that they add. It's worked fine for me in both fondant and simple syrup.

I seem to recall seeing agar agar at Pete's Frootique and Bulk Barn. The organics section at Superstore might work too.
