Pick our spot!

Ok fellow chow's... a special challenge... tonight my father and I are going to the movies and then out to dinner (a little father & son bonding)... We are trying to decide between two of Jose Garces' restaurants... Tinto or Amada???... We have been to both spots many times, and with the decision left up to me, I am turning to you for help... We love both places equally and upon perusing both menus for any notable changes, I still cannot decide between the two. So here it is: Tinto v. Amada. The Garces spot with the most votes will be where we dine/bond and/or kill each other. Thanks for your help and recommendations!

I've always had a slight preference for Amada. Tinto is quieter, though, if you want to be able to talk.

I like Amada better...and Distrito the best.

I would go with Tinto as well. Food is a bit more adventuresome.

If you don't already have a reservation, I doubt you'll be able to walk in and find a table for two at either place tonight.

I actually have a reservation at both places... and will call to confirm/cancel upon reading all recommendations.

Then I would go with Amada. I just like it there better.
