In search of a yummy brownie that I tried over the holidays that had ice cream as an ingredient in the batter. Does anyone know of such a recipe?

  1. i've never heard of this. however, people use everything from sour cream to cream cheese to mayonnaise in their brownies, so why not ice cream? :) assuming it's a custard base, you'd want to cut back on the eggs, butter and sugar in the recipe.

    1. I used melted sherbet in a mousse pie recipe; didn't cut back on the eggs or sugar but I created the recipe and allowed for the sugar in the sherbet; it was wonderful... you can use ice cream in the place of whatever liquid in just about any recipe

      1. Yes. Go to Ben and Jerry's website for the recipe.

I went to the Ben & Jerry's site and couldn't find anything.

there's one recipe page on the site, but nothing for brownies:

        2. Where a brownie recipe calls for heavy cream, you can substitute a high quality ice cream for that ingredient.
          This one should work
