I'm in town for the weekend. What are some good places for breakfast/brunch that are reasonable. My friend, who I'm staying with, lives in Pentagon City.

Try Vermilion in Old Town Alexandria. It's the best bruch in NoVa.

good breakfast is hard to come by in these parts, but Luna Grill in shirlington is pretty good. That's reasonably close to pentagon city right?

Farther into Arlington there are a lot of yuppy brunch places like Liberty Tavern and Eventide, but those may be too far.

For a diner type breakfast, I still like Bob & Ediths on Columbia Pike, tho it will be packed today. Nothing fancy, but the food is served hot and prepared well.

In Old Town, on N. Lee Street (about the 300 block) is Overwood. They have a good brunch buffett and al a carte selections. Popular for brunch, so call ahead to get on the wait list. If you don't have a car, you can take the metro to King Street and take the free trolley down to Lee.
