Jasmine Greek & Lebanese Cafe: Cary, NC
Wonderful place. Very casual order and pick-up at the counter. They just opened in August and it appears to be a family run place. I had a "Greek Pita" which is identical to a chicken shawarma with the exception that it's served with a taziki sauce vs the MIddle Eastern tahini. Outstanding looking kibbe (lamb and bulgar wheat meatballs) and homemade desserts. This place is a gem and I only wish there was a place like it in New Hampshire, where I live. Great food!

Is this inside the Cary Towne Mall? I just googled it and it appears to be in the food court.... Thanks!

re: Tehama
No, it's a stand alone spot. I think Google maps is incorrect because it's closer to the highway and not in a mall. If you pass the high school (heading towards big box stores) it's on the right hand side just before the highway. It looks like it used to be a McDonald's or something.

re: bewley
It is an old Hardee's. It may be owned by the same people as the restaurant in the food court, maybe they even share the same name. I also like this place. I'm no expert to be judging greek food, but all the meals I've had here have been great. They have a nice flavored iced tea beyond Southern 'sweeeht tea'. Since they are fairly new there are a lot of coupons for this place floating around. Find a coupon, come to Cary and enjoy a lunch.
