2004 Domaine Brouchard Pere & Fils Beaune du Chateau Premier Cru Blanc
I wouldn't have opened this yet, but my son wanted something to go with the cod and fennel that he was making for dinner and he pulled it from the cellar before I could suggest something else.
Not an earthshaking wine, but a very nice Chard from the Cote d'Or. Pale color with a citrussy nose with a little bit of anise. Nice acidity, some minerality with pure fruit. Not a very long finish, but a very pleasing wine. It got a little more complex as it opened
