El Tepeyac has new owner? Anyone know about this?

  • 6

I went to El Tepeyac for some really good Mexican food last night with some friends. The food was still excellent, especially the Enchiladas Rancheros, but their was a new face in there, when we asked our waitress if he was the new manager, she said " He is a lot more than that"! They also closed at 6:00 pm on Tuesday's which we did not know about. I had heard that Manuel, the original owner, said " I have been here to long to sale the business". Just curious, but I will find out the scoop and post the real deal for everyone.

Thought I'd read on these boards that a daughter was running the show.
Wonder what else is going to change because the prices are out of whack....$10 for a burrito has to be the most expensive in LA.

Nope, Frida has a burrito that is $11... and the standard ET burrito can feed 2+ people....

True, but anywhere else and "those people" would be ordering and paying for 2 burritos... ;-D>
