Da Ke Yi (Temple City) closed ... to be replaced by Kingdom Cafe (or something by that name)
Because I simply cannot keep up with the overlords of SGV restaurant openings and closings as evidenced by this thread and dialogue between TonyC and Chandavkl:

I just offer this little bit of news. Da Ke Yi (formerly San Sui Tei) is closed and looks to be replaced by a restaurant called Kingdom Cafe, or something.
Cheers.

1 year hitter quitter. ips, did you email me that MONSTROUS list of 400 SGV restaurants? Or was that someone else?

It's new name is either "Bull Demon King Cafe" or "Bull King Demon Cafe". I kid you not. It seems to be advertising Taiwanese Beef Noodle Soup. There are bull horns decorating the walls inside. There was no menu posted, so I couldn't see what they are serving.

Yes, indeed, it's Bull Demon King Cafe, and it's a Taiwanese place. Pork chop rice, chicken leg rice, spicy beef noodle soup, spicy pig ears. Just what this neighborhood was lacking.

Just in case anyone was wondering, Chandavkl still has his tongue firmly planted in his cheek ... some 2.5 hours after he posted his reply.

With the Old Country Cafe, QQ Kitchen, Won Won Kitchen, even B20...sorely lacking :-)
But, how does the food compare with the above?
