Good Delivery in Williamsburg/Greenpoint?

  • 5

Anyone have any really good delivery recommendations in williamsburg or greenpoint? I'm craving szechuan chinese food, but will settle for good vietnamese or thai.

  1. Khao Sarn is my favorite thai in WB. They have great drunken noodle and I love the way they do their veggie duck. Chinese is a little harder to come by... I like M Shanghai but they have spotty delivery in my experience. We sometimes get Red Bowl, but I would never call it great.

    1. M Shanghai is delicious - addictive - not your usual Chinese place. I order from there every week and have never had delivery issues.

Sumo sushi is little known but great.

Thai is plentiful in the Burg but not great. So far the best we've found is the new Sugar Beets Thai. A few of the dishes are better from Erb but they have a freshness issue sometimes. Canned mushrooms in their soup....

Best Vietnamese/Pho in the neighb comes from An Nhau. The pho broth is really spiced and flavorful.

And for non-Asian - Taco Chulo is a great option.

Really? I think M Shanghai is terrible. I've yet to find really good Chinese in the neighborhood. Red Bowl seems to be the best so far.

      2. Nha Toi, on Havemeyer, is much better than An Nhau. However, An Nhau has better hours.

I like Nha Toi a lot too. Their banh mi is great and their variety of summer rolls is great too. It's another good recommendation.

But when it comes to pho An Nhau has a much more flavorful and complex broth than Nha Toi. And if you want any hot Vietnamese dishes you've got to do An Nhau.
