Vegas help required: Can't remember name of Restaurant

Three years ago, my wife and I ate at an Italian Restaurant off the strip. It was west of the strip and freeway, and located in kind of a strip mall. It was not fancy, kind of a red sauce Italian that we all know, but we loved it. It was on one of the east/west streets but we can't remember the name of the place or the street. I'd say it was at least a mile west of the freeway, maybe even more. I believe it had been mentioned at least a few times on this board with favorable comments. Please help two people whose memory is obviously going. Thanks.

  1. And it was on the north side of the street.

Well it's been a while since I have been to LV, but checking on Google that discounts The Venetian Italian Restaurant on W. Sahara.....as I believe it is on the south side of the street. The Venetian is quite possibly the worst restaurant I have ever eaten at for Italian Food.....and that is said even with pizzerias in mind.

It can't be the Venetian as it has been over five years since it has closed. Perhaps it is Ferraros?

This sounds a bit like Nora's (6020 West Flamingo). Does that ring any bells?

      3. Capo's?

Capos is on the south side of the street.

        2. I'm going to second QAW's comment. Sounds like Nora's on Flamingo & Jones.

That's what I thought too...and Nora's is on the north side of Flamingo....and it fits the description.

it's either nora's or ferraro's. ferraro's has a more formal look to it so i'm guessing Nora's, too.

          2. Thank you all. It was Nora's. Happy New Year.
