lunch near MoMA on New Year's Day?

La Bonne Soupe is closed on New Year's Day and some of the 5 of us will have paid the MoMA entrance fee, but some of us will only be joining for lunch, so the MoMA restaurants aren't the best idea. Does anyone know of a place that serves lunch on New Year's Day that is similar in price, atmosphere and food quality to La Bonne Soupe? Thanks!
