Looking for good coffees and pastries near Bonita Springs

We're here often but cannot find a huge selection of decent coffee shops (independent) or anywhere to go for a decent pastry. Also interested in anyone's gelato experience here. Naples 5th Ave has limited options but it's anhour's drive away (then the same back!). Found Sole Cafe in Ft Myers Beach and like it but wish for more places to go. (BTW Sole has new ownership 3 weeks ago and the promise of genuine Belgian Waffles is drawing us back there tomorrow - will advise on the experience).
