Fine (by that I mean good) dining in El Paso

We are in El paso for a few days this holiday season and want some good food for dinner -not all the chains we see. Any suggestions my friends? Thanks in advance for your help!

Billy Crews in Santa Teresa, NM is excellent. I LOVE Cafe Central and Greenwoods.

Cafe Central (downtown, across the street from the Camino Real Hotel) is excellent. It can hold its own against most fine dining restaurants in the states and is a Beard Award nominee. Excellent wine service too. I eat there every time I am in El Paso. Get a reservation though as it is usually a tough table to get walking in (from my experiences)

Just a few miles west of EP is Ardovino Desert Crossing, in Sunland Park, NM. It's worth the drive.
