Has anyone been to the New Moon Restaurant in Glendale on Verdugo near Zeke's Smokehouse? I've driven by but have not eaten there yet. It always appears to be full of people. There is also a new coffee place next door, can't recall the name though.

Was there last Saturday night and it was jammed. 45 minute wait without reservations. It was worth the wait. Potstickers were excellent, as was the shrimp with candied walnuts and the orange chicken. Fairly classic dishes with a twist.

What's truly unique though is the Westside feel to this Eastside restaurant. I don't know of anything else quite like it in the area. The space was well thought out - open, exposed beams and modern touches. Service is not particularly polished, but very accommodating. All in all, a whole different vibe than I've seen before in the Glendale area.
