Kabab Palace (Tempe)

I've been looking forward to trying out Kabab Palace after reading reviews here and other places online about it - I was especially interested in trying out the kaddo. I finally made it there last night only to find that the restaurant has changed hands and no longer serves Afghan food. It is Indian food, only.

I just thought I'd let everyone know, since Kabab Palace has come up several times on this board.

Oh no, that is terrible! :-( I loved that place! I'm surprised it's gone, although it was never terribly busy it was never ominously empty either... I am so sad!

Major bummer, but thanks for the report. I enjoyed the food and thought the owner was very gracious. I hope he opens an Afghan restaurant somewhere else in the metro area. I love Indian food, but we've got a lot of that already.
