i had a perfectly fine meal at Ayara, but it didn't rise to the standard of being 'notable.'

When I moved back to California on Christmas Day 2001, instead of ordering room service at my hotel (whose excellent Bradley Ogden restaurant -- Parcel 104 -- was closed for the holiday), I had "a perfectly fine meal" at the top Indian place in Silicon Valley. I also didn't think the dinner was notable, in my case, because it was so different from what I was used to (and found that I really needed) on Christmas.

Except for this year (g) we always eat at Junior's Deli. Always crowded and definitely not "notable" enough to post about...
