Interesting Dining on the Kitsap Peninsula

Woodenhand Dec 27, 2009 04:46 PM

Hey folks,

I am just moving back to washington state after a three year hiatus... That being said I'm now living in the Kitsap County area and was wondering what some good resteraunt, and dining oppertunities are.

P.S. It's nice to meet everyone!

Welcome back! The only two I can recommend are The Four Swallows on Bainbridge Island and Burrata Bistro in Poulsbo...

If you haven't already, check out the What's Good In Kitsap Thread. Been going for over a year with a lot of good info.

I live in the mountains above Belfair and Bremerton and my local favorites are Suzy's Korean BBQ in downtown Bremerton, Nattamit Thai in Silverdale and Hakata Sushi also in Silverdale.

Welcome home! If you haven't already read the "What's Good in Kitsap" thread as Billy Bob suggested,
here are a couple places we recommend: La Fermata (Upscale Italian) just across the Mannette Bridge in Bremerton, and we
recently have enjoyed The Patio for a wine dinner. It is located in the same area, close to the Boat Shed.
Hope you find some great dining destinations. They are here, you just have to seek them out.
Good luck! And please let us know your opinions...we love to hear from you.

Agate Pass Cafe in, out of all places, Suquamish, is good, or at least it was the few times I tried it a couple of years ago. I heard they got a new sous chef and I haven't made it over there since then.

See the post by another poster below on the Agate Pass Cafe. He gives it a good review and includes the website. Restaurants like this deserve to be supported, because there is so little good food in Kitsap County.
