Gloria's in Crown Heights

I stumbled upon this West Indian restaurant/takeout spot on the corner of Nostrand Ave. and Sterling Pl. while catsitting for a friend. A buddy and I split a double and a pumpkin roti and both were tantalizingly delicious--fresh-tasting and hot. Also recommended: the very strong, and very sweet, homemade ginger beer. This is a real neighborhood place and each time I've passed it it has had at least a few customers inside. Just wanted to give it a shout-out.
