Where to buy Wild Game?

Where is a good place to buy wild game in the Bay Area? We live downtown, so close to the city is preferred, but we are willing to drive if that is the only option.

looking for: Venison, Rabbit
bonus points: Ostrich, Elk

Our freezer size is condo-sized, so buying a portion of the animal is not possible for larger beasts.

Thank you for any recommendations!

    1. Polarica has all of those. I prefer reindeer (caribou) to elk.

Lots of places sell rabbit: http://chowhound.chow.com/topics/664432

Holy cow, Polarica sounds amazing. We're here for a week. We will check it out, for sure. Thanks, Robert.

Polarica does sell game meats, which they are allowed to label as wild. These are ranch raised animals, however, not truly wild. There is an enormous difference in the end product.
As far as I know, the only state in which it is legal to sell meat from an actual wild animal is Alaska.
Edit: I don't mean to imply that these aren't still good meats. For many animals, I prefer farm raised to truly wild. Just don't put in an order thinking you're getting what people bring home from hunting trips.

I guess I made the assumption that "wild" didn't really mean wild. With as large a product list as they have, I think it would almost have to be farm raised. I'm sure the flavor and texture is VERY different. But I MUST check it out :)

Not a whole lot to check out. If you have never been there get good instructions exactly where it is. It is a small room and a counter and you may have to shout for someone to help you. Most people usually order and pick up....although they sometimes have specials listed on signs on wall. In same complex , in back of P, is another place that has some good deals also. More beef ,their lamb chops are good and they have lots of different hot dogs and sausages. They serve mostly the restaurant trade. Don't know name.

Thanks. Yeah, it's on a street I've never heard of so figured it might be off the beaten track.
