Do you love your stove? Looking for recs for a good mid priced gas range.
I am in a rental in Brooklyn. I love to cook, though most of my cooking is pretty casual "peasant" food. I have a small galley kitchen and terrible, low end 30 inch GE range. I'm going to ask my landlord if she would be willing to split the cost of a new range with me, and I think she will probably agree. I'm looking for recommendations for a good mid priced range. Do you have one you love?
I've checked out consumer reports, but the Kenmore they recommend no longer seems available. I'm reluctant to buy another GE just because the one I have is so awful.

we recently purchased a 30" frigidaire stove about 5 months ago, so far very happy with it. the same company makes electrolux, much lower price though . my only complaint is the burners are not extremely adjustable turn the knob one inch (figuratively) and the flame barely changes. but with different size burners, not a problem. and the big one does heat very quickly
